Winning Cause , another 3yo out of that seemingly bottomless Todd Pletcher reservoir of 3yo’s, picked up 20 Kentucky Derby Points in a solid stretch move to win by 1 length in today’s $200,000, GIII Coolmore Lexington Stakes, at 1 1/16 mile over a “fast” Keeneland poly track!

Trainer, Todd Pletcher said, he wants to see how Winning Cause , comes out of this race before making any possible derby moves! If he runs again in Louisville on May 4th it would be his 3rd race in 4 weeks!
